Differences between NH35 and NH36

A technical comparison of their shared geometry and different calendar layouts.

Differences between NH35 and NH36

NH35 and NH36 belong to the automatic TMI NH3 family and share much of their base geometry. Their main functional difference is the calendar: NH35 displays the date, while NH36 displays day and date.

What they share

Both profiles share their family, outside diameter, height, crown position, drawing dial diameter and nominal fittings for the three main hands.

These similarities help compare components, but they do not replace checking each interface.

The main difference: the calendar

NH35 uses a date layout. NH36 adds day and date, so it needs a dial with the correct layout and windows.

NH35 and NH36 dials must not be treated as automatically interchangeable even when they share the same outer diameter.

Cases, dials and listings

Shared geometry may lead a seller to advertise one case for both calibres. Even so, check the cavity, spacer, crown, internal height, dial and calendar configuration.

A seller description remains a commercial claim until sufficient technical measurements are available.
